debout en pratyalidhasana, écrasant de ses multiples jambes les petites divinités et animaux couchés sur un socle lotiforme, ses deux bras principaux enlaçant sa parèdre Vajravetali et tenant dans ses mains un couperet et une calotte crânienne, ses trente-deux autres bras rayonnant autour de son corps en deux rangées, sa tête de buffle principale entourée de huit autres visages terrifiants, une dépouille d'éléphant sur le dos, scellé (2)

Acquired in China in the early 1900s by a French military (by repute).

Condition

The figure is heavily cast and richly gilt, figure and base cast separately, the base sealed. There is very minor wear to the gilding.
