Condition
The thangka was examined outside the frame. It is in overall good condition. There is some light wear and some losses to he pigments particularly to the centre of the painting along the vertical line of the painting where the two parts of the textile has been sown together. There are small areas where the pigments have been retouched particularly the blue. The painting could do with a cleaning.
