- Gilt-bronze
assise en vajrasana sur un double socle lotiforme, ses huit bras irradiant gracieusement autour du corps, l'un en varada mudra, un autre tenant une effigie d'Amitabha, la tête à trois visages légèrement penchée, chacun agrémenté d'un troisième oeil sur le front et surmonté d'un double chignon derrière une couronne, vêtue d'un dhoti aux bordures finement sculptées de fleurs, non scellé
Condition
The figure is heavily cast and richly gilt. It is in overall good condition. There are several stress cracks to the rim of the base, the longest extending ca. 0.5 cm into the rim. There is minor wear to the gilding and some scattered dents to the surface, particularly across the back. There are traces of blue pigment to the hair. The base is open.
