Condition

The painting has been examined out of the frame. It is mounted on cardboard. There are traces of wear and small areas of loss to the silk around the edges of the painting, particularly along the left hand side and upper and lower left hand corners. There are several horizontal and vertical cracks running through the silk with associated areas of loss to the pigments, particularly a vertical line going through the centre of the painting. The reverse of the cardboard bearing several paper labels.
