Condition
Vase and cover are well-carved, the vase carved from one piece of stone. Both vase and cover are in overall very good condition. There is a ca. 2 cm hairline/natural vein starting at the rim and extending diagonally into the dark brown patch beneath the rim and a second ca. 2cm long hairline/natural vein starting at the rim and extending into the neck. On one side of the vase, there is a ca. 2.5 x 2.5 dimpled russet area on the body (visible in the catalogue illustration). There are tiny fritts on the inner edges of the foot, rim and cover. The colour of the stone is a slightly more yellowish-celadon tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
