Condition

The 'double carp' plaque has been broken in two parts and restuck, with an associated chip measuring ca. 0.7 x 0.5 cm. There is also a ca. 1.5 x 1 cm piece of the edge of one tail is missing. The colour is consistent with the catalogue illustration. The 'dragon' plaque has had one side of the lower edge of the back leg and tail polished down on ca. 2 cm and ca. 1.5 cm. There is a ca. 0.3 cm bruise on the upper edge of the plaque. Otherwise in overall good condition. The stone is slightly whiter than the catalogue illustration suggests. They are kept in a fitted tray lined with silk.
