Acquired in China in the 1930s.
Thence in the family by descent.

Condition

The dragonfish is in overall very good condition, the stone a light celadon tone and well polished. The second snuff bottle has some very light fritts to the raised parts of the design. The stone is a more yellowish tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
