la panse renflée se prolongeant en trois petits pieds coniques, à décor de pampres et chrysanthèmes sur fond turquoise, le bord agrémenté d'anses ; avec un vase en émaux cloisonnés, gu, marque Jingtai à quatre caractères à la base (2)
Condition
The censer:
There is a ca. 8x2cm wide area to the body and over one leg where the enamels are bruised, show some losses and scratches which were filled in later. There are further filled-in areas around the neck and body as well as some scattered pitting to the enamels.
The gu-shaped vase:
The upper part of the vase may have been cut down in the past and put back onto the protruding part of the lower body. There are minor losses to the enamels around the neck, body and foot, some of them filled in. There is pitting to the enamels to the inside neck. There is some wear to the gilding. The colours are vibrant and there is a four-character Jingtai nianzhi mark cast in relief to the base.
