  • Jade, silver-inlaid wood
de forme cylindrique, flanquée de deux chilong formant anses, deux côtés agrémentés d'un caractère shou stylisé, la partie inférieure sculptée de trois petites carpes formant les pieds, marque zhibao à la base, couvercle en bois (3)

Provenance

Acquired in China between 1894 and 1922.
Thence in the family by descent.

Condition

The vessel in overall good condition. There are minute fritts to the edges of the carved design. The stone is of a celadon tone and suffused with black specks . There is a yellow paper label inscribed in black in to one side of the vessel. The wood cover inlaid with metal wire, the knob is separate.
