Acquired in China between 1894 and 1922.
Thence in the family by descent.

Condition

A ca. 3x0.7cm wide crescent-shaped part of the rim of the cover broken out and restored in the past. Otherwise small fritts to the raised parts of the carved design on both box and cover. The jade inlay with small fritts to the edges and rims.
