Thence in the family by descent.

Condition

The attributes originally sitting on top of the lotus flowers are missing. The inlays on the mandorla are later added. There in overall wear to the gilding and to the red pigment on the back of the separately cast mandorla. Two corners of the base have been knocked. The back of the mandorla is warped. The base is resealed. Otherwise good overall condition.
