Condition
There is a ca. 1.5cm wide loss to the wood on the raised rim of the lower half of the box and a ca. 5cm crack going from the rim extending into the side of the lower half of the box. There is a ca. 0.7x2cm large piece missing from the cover of the box and half of the fitted rim of the cover has broken off. There is some grainy residue to the surface of the painted red lacquer on the inside of the box.
