Provenance
Collection privée, acquis ca. 1980
Condition
Very good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. Fine well preserved carving. Two old holes, one inherent to the wood, behind the head and the other on the proper right side of the chest. Another more recent one on the back of the sculpture probably made to hang the piece. An old hairline crack to the rear proper right side of the head. Bright light patina to the tips and brown shades elsewhere which reveals the grain of the wood.

Catalogue Note
