Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is deeper and brighter int he original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. There are two dents to the stretcher, one on the upper left angle and the other on the lower left. Two tiny dents, one located 4 cm from the lower edge and 41 cm from the left, and the other along the left edge, 25 cm from the upper, are only visible under close inspection. Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in very good condition.
