The hand-sewn single-appliqued cotton muslin stars configured in vertically offset rows of six, with two outlying stars, on the three-piece hand-sewn wool bunting canton machine-sewn to the stripes; the stripes are matching sewn wool bunting; there is a sailcloth canvas sleeve hand-sewn to the flag enclosing aperiod hemp rope, which has the ink inscription C.H. Green; period reinforcing patches have been hand-sewn on to all four corners of the flag.

Condition

With some discoloration to band at hoist edge; and a stain in the second white stripe from the bottom.
