The hand-sewn double-appliqued cotton muslin stars are configured on a cornflower-blue cotton canton; the stripes are machine-sewn cotton.  It was probably made as a later statehood commemorative.

The American Flag Collection of Thomas S. Connelly, Sotheby's, May 23, 2002, sale 7801, lot 113.

Condition

The proper left edge with some discoloration; the top stripe with a small hole at proper right; the top proper right corner frayed, along with parts of the hoist edge; the flag with some discoloration and wear consistent with age and use.
