- Huldah Hudson, circa 1816
- Three watercolor theorem paintings
- watercolor, pen and ink on paper
- Basket with fruit and flowers: 19 1/2 by 15 1/2 in.; Basket with Iris blossom: 17 7/8 by 13 1/4 in.; Vase with white rose: 16 1/2 by 13 1/4 in.
On the back of the theorem painting with blue vase is the following inscription, Painted in 1816 by my grandmother in Goshen, New York; signed by James H. Owen (1849 – 1938).
Provenance
Descended in the Hudson-Owen family to the present owner.
Condition
All appear to be in their original wood veneered frames with wood backing; basket with grapes with stain to upper right, some silver paper loss; basket with Iris discolored; vase with rose discolored.

Huldah Hudson was born in New Jersey in 1801. She died in Goshen, New York in 1877. She was the daughter of Capt. William Hudson, born Blooming Grove, Orange County, New York, 1755.
