Pile generally good, near original, approx. 1/8in. throughout with a few small moth damage areas low to spot foundation in upper end outer guard border. An approx. 1in. by 9in, horizontal reweave into right border. Minor scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Both ends with partial outer guard stripes, now with dark brown stitching and secured with a binding stitch. Sides with some later overcasting in areas. Supple handle, robust weave, good overall condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
