Condition
Pile ranges from dense near original, closely shorn, approximately 1/8" throughout to low to knot heads in scattered foldware areas. Approximately 2" x 3" irregularly shaped reweave in the field while executed. Some scattered visible warp ties. Small repaired slit in upper right corner, approximately 1" in length. Partially oxidized dark greens and medium browns. Sides generally in tact. Lower right corner with salvage, now detached in an approximately 2" area and pile is slightly fraying, recommend securing. Lower end generally in tact with some nicks to pile, now secured with a blanket stitch. Upper end with a few rows of knots missing from blue opens around, now secured in a chain which is now slightly fraying. Dense weave plush wool, good overall design. Flexible handle. Will enhance with some minor restoration and a light cleaning.
