Condition
Pile generally good, near original dense, approximately 1/8th inch overall, with some scattered areas low to knot heads mostly at upper 1/5th of field. Some few scattered visible warp ties. Upper end with small approximately 1 1/2 inch repaired slit into open surround. Both ends with remnants of original flat woven finish. Lower right corner with some losses and fraying recommend securing. Sides curling under in areas due to density to weave, now with some abrasions and minor losses to overcasting. Lustrous wool, dense weave, flexible handle. Good overall condition will enhance with minor restoration and light cleaning.
