Pile approximately 1/10th inch throughout with scattered areas of moth damage. Low to knot heads scattered throughout. Some moth damaged areas with minor tinting. Upper half of field with a few scattered small, approx. nickel sized holes. Sides later overcast. Lower end with original flat woven finish, now with some losses to decorative polychrome stitching. Upper end secured with a blanket stitch. Flexible handle, robust weave, sound fabric and condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
