Condition

The print is in good condition, with wide margins and fresh colors (especially in the sky). Each sheet edge is trimmed and there is pale-mat stain, darkest at the mat opening. There is 1 cm tear in the center of the right sheet edge and five, inconspicuous scuff marks in the cloud at right. The verso, with surface soiling and with circular stains (perhaps from the knots in wooden backing (?)) and a dark vertical stripe in the center of the print showing through to the recto.
