The canvas is lined. Surface in generally good condition, with scattered craquelure, a spot of inpainting at upper left sky visible to the unaided eye. Under ultraviolet light: scattered spots of inpainting, especially to horizon line near light house at right of center and at horizon line at left of center, as well as the spot in upper left sky that is visible with unaided eye.
