Canvas is lined. SURFACE: surface is somewhat compressed, although retention of color and details is good; work was painted thinly--there are several, scattered places where canvas weave shows through UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: scattered retouches throughout, mostly dots and dashes (no tears, holes)
