Condition

Canvas is not lined (coarse, burlap-like) SURFACE: in good, general condition--could use some TLC--cleaning and tightening-up of canvas on stretcher; craquelure throughout (work is painted with thick impasto)--not very noticeable; canvas is loose on stretcher (buckles in several places); at upper edge, extreme left--the canvas has torn away along the upper part of the stretcher (about 2 inches long, horizontal) UNDER UV: not available at time of cataloguing
