Condition

Oil on Masonite. Surface: In generally good condition; Scattered areas of losses, craquelure, and pigment separation. Dirty and dusty. UNDER UV: No apparent inpainting.

Catalogue Note

The present work was donated to South Hunterdon High School in memory of a student named Henry Bevan "Hank" Walton.  A member of the class of 1965, he was killed in an automobile accident on December 25, 1964. Hank was the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper and was heavily involved in the arts at South Hunterdon.
