Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in good condition; craquelure throughout (but under the surface); a few small spots on the center pomegranate appear to be old repaints that have discolored UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: a repaired tear appears as the outline of a rectangle (about 2 by 3 in.) at lower center, left; aside from this, scattered dots, dashes of inpainting, mostly in background
