Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in good condition, generally; work is painted with thick impasto, so there is scattered craquelure (looks stable and does not detract from aesthetic) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: scattered spots of inpainting throughout, most of it in sky--looks like it's mostly for craquelure fill-in and smaller paint losses--perhaps applied with a heavy hand
