Condition
Canvas is lined. SURFACE: some compression to surface from relining, but retention of details and pigment is good UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: a few strokes of inpainting at center/left and some dots dashes at center/right (in sky and at horizon line); for the most part (signature included) work is under old, undisturbed-looking varnish--except for the lights center right, which are in slightly clearer focus (leading one to assume that the painting was selectively cleaned at one time)
