Catalogue Note

The present work depicts the artist's wife, Dora, as well as Leo Lerman, a prominent writer and editor for Condé Nast, who is shown seated closest to the cello. The model for the third figure in the white shirt is likely Paul Rotella, a pianist and music teacher.
