Bears label on the reverse, identifying the artist as ‘Bush Native’ and titles the work, ‘Axeman’

Condition

The bark has two small holes approximately two-thirds of the way up on either side and two at the bottom right hand corner, where the bark has been previously attached to a mount board. There is a crack approximately 20cm long emanating longitudinally 3cm in from the top left hand corner. Minor areas of pigment loss on the figurative image, although remaining pigments appear stable. No repairs or restoration.
