Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The leather of the chairs have acquired a beautiful patina from age, as seen in the catalogue illustration. When viewed first hand, the color of the leather is slightly more saturated and richer than in the catalogue illustration. The leather color and condition is consistent between the chairs and it is likely that these have originated together. The leather surfaces with minor surface scratches, none of which break the surfaces of the leather, discolorations, light crazing and some areas of concentrated abrasions, consistent with gentle use. The leather with minor discolorations to the top rails of the backrest consistent with handling. The fill of the seat cushions is slightly rigid from age, but does not impact the comfort of the chairs. A wonderful original condition examples of this iconic Scandinavian chair form showing beautiful patina to the leather. ---
