Overall in very good condition. The vertical lacquer metal elements visible in the catalogue illustration and used in the exhibition, are modern and added later to install the shelves. The three shelves are therefore independent works and the configuration can be altered from the present installation. The wooden elements with surface scratches, concentrated to the front surfaces of the shelves and adjacent to the hardware, consistent with use and installation. With minor rubbing to the painted surface and a few minor edge losses to the paint. The pieces are each in very good condition, and show the care of the previous owner. Matthson has created a series of works that clearly prioritizes both design and function. ---
