Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The stained wood surfaces present with minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and surface dirt to the recessed portions of the design consistent with age and gentle use. The seat with two isolated areas of rubbing and minor loss to the finish, visible in the catalogue illustration. A few scattered edge abrasions, also visible in the catalogue illustration. Some of the metal elements with minor surface scratches and light discoloration of the metal, consistent with aging of the material. The piece has acquired a beautiful patina throughout and is an iconic and rare work by Wagner. ---
