Condition

Very good overall condition. The eggshell surface is in excellent condition showcasing the intricate craftsmanship of this technique. The table with minor sensitively undertaken prior restoration and shows the care and attention of the previous owner. The eggshell with a few minor irregularities inherent to the technique. The surface of the lacquered portion of the table presents with scattered minor surface dirt and a few minor indentations concentrated to the edges and lower portion of the legs, consistent with age and very gentle use. The corner of the top and edges of the legs with a very few minor sensitively undertaken restorations. The lacquer displays a wonderful warm caramel hue which contrasts beautifully with the dynamic white eggshell decoration to the top. An extraordinary table displaying large scale and superb detail in the eggshell technique. ---
