Condition

Overall in good condition. The some surfaces of the chair, including the backrail of the seat and legs appear to have a later finish that varies slightly in coloration. The chair frame with minor surface scratches, a few minor scattered abrasions and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The wood with a few minor and isolated hairline cracks consistent with the aging of the material. The metal surfaces with minor surface scratches and some light discoloration consistent with the aging process of the material. The chair has been reupholstered at some point in the history of the piece and the leather is in good condition with minor surface scratches and a few scattered discolorations as seen in the catalogue illustration. An opportunity to acquire an iconic design by Josef Hoffmann. ---
