Condition
Overall in very good condition. The surfaces have been sensitively refinished and present with a few small and minor surface scratches, a few minor scattered edge abrasions and light surface dirt consistent with age and gentle use. The wood is beautifully figured and presents with rich nuances and beautiful details. The top with an area of sensitively undertaken restoration across the width at the back of the desk. A few isolated areas of minor restoration concentrated above the keyhole at the front and at the proper left side upper corner. Lacking key. A very stylish desk, that epitomizes highly decorative style and intricate forms of Sue et Mares furniture.
