Overall in very good original condition. As seen in the catalogue illustration, this piece is executed using an incredibly richly figured wood selection, and shows a beautiful range in hue. The design is executed in a manner that each slat is a slightly variant piece of jacaranda, which give the piece an incredible depth and variety when viewed first hand. Please also note the dimensions of this work as it is large in scale. The surface of the bench with a few shallow surface scratches and a couple of minor discolorations consistent with very gentle use. The lower portion of the legs with some shallow surface scratches and edge abrasions commensurate with use. A few of the domed fastener covers to the top of the bench are presently loose and approximately 13 missing to the top and two to the base of the bench. A wonderful form with a striking presence when viewed first hand. ---
