Condition

Very good overall condition. This table is executed in a Persian walnut and shows the rich coloration and variation in the figuring characteristic of this striking wood. The table presents with richly coloration throughout and the elegant free form edges are further accentuated by caramel colored sap lines. The coloration of the table is richer and slightly darker when viewed first hand. The table with a few minor shallow surface scratches, minute abrasions and rubbing to the surface, consistent with age and gentle use. The current condition of the table reflects the care and attention of the prior owner. The table top shows very light fading from sun exposure. A few minor surface discolorations to the feet, visible in the catalogue illustration. The legs of the table with some surface scratches and abrasions consistent with gentle use. A beautiful table when viewed first hand with a deeply sculptural form and richly detailed wood grain. ---
