Overall in very good condition. The wood of the frame is richly figured throughout. The wood surfaces have recently been sensitively cleaned and presents with nuanced coloration when viewed in person. The wood surfaces with a few minor surface scratches and a few minor edge abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. A few areas of discoloration to the wood, concentrated along the upper edge of the backrest. The sofa has been reupholstered and the upholstery is in excellent condition. A highly sculptural sofa that demonstrates Henningsen’s equal attention form and function. ---
