Condition

Overall excellent consistent with age. The chair has not been sat on, so it remains in original condition from the artist. Flat storage recommended until first seat impression.

Catalogue Note

Evocative of a Chinese lantern, the 'Honey Pop' chair is made of paper honeycomb and starts out flat, the form of the chair being created by the first person to sit on it. Examples of the model are in the major museum collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
