Provenance
Acquired in Eichenau between 1922-28 by the husband of the previous owner (probably directly from the artist); by descent to his widow in 1930; thence by descent in the family to the present owner
Condition
Oil on board. The board is flat, even and ensuring a stable support. Minor hairline craquelure is visible in certain areas of the painted surface. There are small signs of paint flaking along the edges, covered by the frame. Ultra-violet light reveals no signs of retouching. The picture is in good original condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a dark wooden frame.
