Provenance
Acquired in Eichenau between 1922-28 by the husband of the previous owner (probably directly from the artist); by descent to his widow in 1930; thence by descent in the family to the present owner
Condition
Oil on board. The board is slightly convex but is ensuring a stable support. There are three minor spots of paint flaking as visible in the catalogue illustration. Ultra-violet light reveals no sign of retouching. The work is in good original condition and ready to hang.
Presented framed.
