Condition
Unexamined out of the frame and under glass. Apart from some possible light surface rubbing including to the signature, this work is in good overall condition and ready to hang. Presented framed and glazed.

Executed circa 1910-20. The execution of the present work is testament to Gervex's association with the Société des pastelistes français, of which he was President in 1913.
