The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This work has been recently restored, although the glue lining is older. There are very few isolated dots of retouching here and there in the darker colors of the landscape and trees. Almost all of the retouches address some natural discoloration of the original canvas, which the artist left unpainted in the upper left and center left sky. It is not unusual at all for Corot to be quite sketchy in the upper skies of these landscapes. Although this discoloration has required some retouches, the picture feels and looks to be in very good condition.
