Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is some wear to the gilding, including minor tarnishing, notably to the lower points of the woman's torso and to the rock work. A few original casting pins are slightly visible, in particular to the neck and to the chest. An original casting joint is slightly visible at the proper left upper arm. There are a few nicks and scratches, notably to the proper right shoulder and to a few high points of the terrasse. There is some wax residue in a few areas, including to the abdomen behind the proper right arm, to the proper right shoulder at the back, to the proper right thigh, and above the proper left buttock.
