Catalogue Note

A monumental stone version of Nymph of Diana can be found in the garden of City Hall (jardin de la Mairie) in Rispal’s native city of Bordeaux. Rispal originally exhibited a plaster version of the present sculpture in the Salon of 1901, and the following year he unveiled a marble version.
