Condition
Overall the condition of the terracotta is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a slip to the surface which could possibly conceal condition issues. There are a few small chips to the edges of the base. There appear to be possible restorations to the flower in his hand and possibly to the fingers of his proper right hand. There are a few small chips and possible restorations to the proper left sleeve. The terracotta is made in sections, and original stable joints are visible at the legs. There could possible be some small restorations to the edges of the hat, sleeves, and the bottom edges of the coat. There may be some restorations to the proper left hand. There is a restored break to the wood staff.
