Movement running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Chimes in phase. Case in very good condition with slight scratches to the case back overall. Light polish to the hinge area. Spotting overall to the case is cosmetic. Dial in excellent condition. Movement with light oxidation.

Tiffany & Co. and Patek Philippe were established 2 years apart in the 1830s, and have had a strong relationship through their 175 year histories. The present lot is an interesting a rare example of such collaboration. Most watches from the era were normally signed just by Tiffany & Co, however this watch is signed with both the retailer and maker. Additionally, it is interesting to note that the Extract mentions the large, gold dial and that the case is numbered with just the movement number.
