• manual winding jeweled gilt lever movement • silvered guilloché dial, Breguet numerals • bezel set with rose-cut diamonds encircled by translucent blue enamel over guilloché, cabochon sapphires to the crown and lugs, snap back • dial signed, case with hand-stamped Cartier reference numbers
Condition
The present lot contains endangered species which is subject to restrictions upon international export. Accordingly, the strap for this item will be removed prior to shipment outside the United States.
Movement running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time and would benefit from service at the buyer's discretion. Winding mechanism is tight.
Case back with overall scuffs. The case band with some minor scratches due to age. Additionally, there is a scratch at 1 o'clock where the watch has been opened. Enamel to the bezel is in good condition, with the exception of the thin formerly white enamel ring that has chipped away over time. Dial is completed discolored with numerals that have faded. Additionally, the blued steel hands are no longer blue.
The inside of the case back is stamped 3048. The inside of the case back is also marked with an S and G within a lozenge, separated by a key.
